Mr Alex Davies, a 22-year-old IT engineer at gaming firm Partygaming, has won the Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) of the Year contest for Europe.
According to Red Hat, Davies, the youngest IT engineer at Partygaming, runs a global web and MySQL cluster. The RHCE training has allowed Davies to identify ways to improve uptime, scalability and performance on his systems, Red Hat advised.
